Peer Review Policy

KATUN-ANAN: San Isidro College Multidisciplinary Research Journal

KATUN-ANAN: San Isidro College Multidisciplinary Research Journal upholds a rigorous peer review process to ensure the highest standards of academic integrity, scholarly quality, and ethical publication practices. Every manuscript submitted to the journal undergoes evaluation through a Double-Blind Review System, ensuring fairness, impartiality, and objectivity throughout the editorial process.

Key Features of the Review Process

  • Editorial Screening – Initial assessment ensures relevance, scope alignment, and publication readiness.
  • Double-Blind Review – Authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the review process.
  • Expert Referees – Manuscripts are evaluated by qualified local, national, and international reviewers.
  • Ethical Integrity – Reviewers disclose potential conflicts of interest before accepting assignments.

Review and Editorial Process

Corresponding authors are responsible for submitting manuscripts and facilitating revisions throughout the review process. Submitted manuscripts are first examined anonymously by the Editorial Board to determine alignment with the journal’s aims, scope, and scholarly standards.

Qualified internal and external referees are selected according to their expertise and relevance to the manuscript’s subject area. The Editor-in-Chief oversees reviewer selection, manuscript assignment, and compliance with the journal’s double-blind review protocol.

Authors must remove identifying information such as names, affiliations, and acknowledgments during the review stage to preserve anonymity and ensure impartial evaluation.

Editorial decisions are based on originality, relevance, methodological rigor, clarity of presentation, and adherence to publication ethics. Authors may be requested to revise manuscripts in response to reviewer comments and recommendations.

To safeguard the integrity of the review process, reviewers are required to disclose any potential conflicts of interest before accepting review assignments. This ensures fairness, transparency, and credibility throughout the publication process.

Commitment to Quality: KATUN-ANAN is committed to ethical, rigorous, transparent, and high-quality scholarly publishing.
